Dave Wilson
Dave Wilson has practiced law for almost two decades across three states. His experience includes well over 100 trials.
He joins Philpott Wilson, LLP after a decade-long career with the Dauphin County District Attorney, where he handled cases from financial fraud to murder. He supervised the juvenile unit and served as the office’s Right-to-Know officer. He wrote a guide to the Right-to-Know Law used by district attorney offices across the state.
Before moving to Pennsylvania with his family, Dave was an associate with Jordan Coyne LLP, a Washington, D.C. insurance defense firm, in its Virginia office. Before that, he was an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the New York City Law Department, where he defended the New York City Police Department and other city agencies.
Dave graduated cum laude from Brooklyn Law School, where he was an editor with the Brooklyn Journal of International Law and a Moot Court competitor.
In a prior career, Dave was a reporter for the Philadelphia Inquirer, in its New Jersey office. He grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and went to the University of Kansas.
Dave lives with his wife, Jennifer, and their three children, in Perry County.
